Our activities include a wide range from torchlight processions to workshops on right-wing computer games, from a donation activity for the bereaved family of the victim of an arson attack to the special performance of the movie Schindler's List , from drama performances to brochures on right-wing extremism. |
Important dates
In 1984 youths of various organisations of Wels join together to protest against extreme right-wing meetings in their town.
In 1988 the anti-fascists become a joined platform working continuously after having worked together occasionally. In 1989 the initiative joins the network "Mauthausen Aktiv". In 1992 the organisation is established as an association. In 2000
a close co-operation with the network "Land der Menschen"
begins. In 2000 the initiative is awarded the Prize of Solidarity donated by the "Kirchenzeitung"
of the diocese of Linz.
In 2001 the initiative together with 25 other organisations establishes the Upper Austrian Network against Racism and Right-Wing Extremism |
